COO for Gencom
Gencom Technology has appointed former Accent Media executive, David Barnard, as it’s Auckland based COO.
Barnard, who holds a degree in film and television production, and an MBA from UCLA, comes to Gencom with a wealth of OTT and Broadband Television experience from his time in the LA office of Accent Media.
Gencom CEO, Ray Sanders, said “David not only brings up to date experience in the emerging connected Television space, but his presence will assist in moving Gencom forward with new Business Development initiatives. We are excited to have David on the team.”
“Having observed Gencom develop for a number of years, I am looking forward to the challenge of helping Ray to grow the company and add a fresh perspective to the operation” David Barnard added.
Both Ray Sanders and David Barnard will be present on the Gencom Booth at the forthcoming SMPTE conference in Sydney, where Gencom will show-case new technology and workflow solutions from a number of business partners.
