Gencom Technology supplies equipment and helps design audio-visual platform for The Royal Institution of Australia’s (RiAus) new Science Exchange building in Adelaide

RiAus approached Gencom Technology to supply camera and video production equipment for their newly refurbished Science Exchange situated in Adelaide’s historic Stock Exchange Building.

Damian Scanlon, RiAus’s Chief Operating Officer, who is responsible for the practical implementation of the organization’s vision said, ‘Initially we asked Gencom to supply the equipment only. We required a complex audio-visual platform and it soon became apparent that their expertise in system design would help us maximise this opportunity to install a state-of-the art facility in our new premises.’

Gencom recommended video production products from leading suppliers Broadcast Pix, Telemetrics, Sony, and Fujinon. Configured as a single intergrated package it enables RiAus to produce first class HD programming.

Keith Bremner Gencom’s Sales Manager who liaised with RiAus on the job said, ’Gencom’s involvement grew as the project developed - from simply supplying equipment to becoming involved in consultation, design, implementation, commissioning and training….a total video production solution.
