Clear-com’s FreeSpeak family of wireless products has been a game-changer for wireless production communications. Now this family has just grown larger, with the introduction of the FreeSpeak Edge and Arcadia base stations.
The Edge Wireless Base Station
... is an IP base station that supports the full range of award-winning FreeSpeak digital wireless solutions. This revolutionary standalone base station can support the FreeSpeak Edge 5 GHz, FreeSpeak II 1.9 and 2.4 GHz, as well as third-party Dante devices. Configuration is easy with a new CCM browser-based configuration manager, two full-color high-resolution touch screen displays, and advanced menu options directly from the front panel. With the offering of another base station option to the large community of FreeSpeak users and the added benefit of IP capability, the FreeSpeak Edge Base Station provides an accessible IP solution to a broad range of customers.
The Arcadia Central Station
... represents the next generation of party line workflow: an elegant ease of use powered by a next-generation scalable IP platform. The system integrates wired and wireless party line systems, including the full range of FreeSpeak products. With a mixture of 2-wire and 4-wire audio ports, this 1RU device serves as the centrepiece of a system that includes Clear-com endpoints as we ll as 3rd-party devices via Dante. With licensable port capacity options and Integration with Clear-com’s HelixNet, the industry-leading wired digital party line system, Arcadia is designed to grow with your business.
Both systems offer ease of setup and monitoring with Clear-com’s newly redesigned Core Configuration Manager (CCM) software - an integrated, browser-based software utility that enables rapid setup, configuration and monitoring with an intuitive user interface.
These new systems complement the FreeSpeak II base station, which has rapidly become the de facto standard for wireless intercom operation in the 1.9GHz and 2.4 GHz bands in New Zealand and internationally.
