MediaKind
MediaKind is a young company with very deep DNA in the broadcasting industry. As Tandberg Television, the company’s history goes back to the very earliest days of television broadcasting. After acquiring the Digital TV products business of NDS Group in 1999, the company became a market leader in Digital Broadcasting. The company was acquired in 2007 by telecom giant Ericsson, which also added Mediaroom and to its portfolio. In 2018, Ericsson spun out its television business into a new entity, MediaKind.
With MediaKind’s pioneering heritage and strong foundations, the company’s simple goal is to enable customers to create and deliver immersive media experiences. Their portfolio is divided into X product lines:
